RBSE Revaluation 2027 (Scrutiny)

How Rajasthan Board scrutiny (re-checking) works, what it covers, how to apply and what to expect.

If your marks are lower than you expected, the Rajasthan Board allows you to apply for scrutiny of your answer books after the result. Many people call this “revaluation”, but it is important to understand what it actually covers.

What scrutiny checks

  • Whether the marks for every answer were added correctly.
  • Whether any answer was left unmarked.
  • Whether the marks inside the answer book match those recorded on the cover and in the result.

Scrutiny is not a fresh evaluation of your answers. If no error is found, your marks stay the same. If an error is found, your result is revised.

How to apply

  1. Watch for the scrutiny notice on rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in immediately after the result.
  2. Apply online through the official website or an e-Mitra kiosk within the dates in the notice. Offline applications have not been accepted in recent years.
  3. Pay the per-subject fee shown in the notice and keep the receipt.
  4. Track your application on the board’s scrutiny service; login details are usually sent to your registered mobile number.

Timing matters

The window is short. In 2026 applications opened on the day of the result and ran for about a week at the normal fee, with a few extra days at a higher late fee. Fees and dates change each year, so follow the 2027 notice exactly.

Answer book copy and re-examination

In recent years the board has provided a scanned copy of the answer book to scrutiny applicants. For 2026, news reports described an additional re-examination option for some Class 10 subjects. Whether these options are offered in 2027 depends on the board’s notice.

Should you apply?

Apply if a subject’s marks are far below your own estimate, or if you are a few marks short of passing or of an admission cut-off. Do not delay admission steps while you wait: you can usually continue with your plans using your current result.
